About the Event:
Join GardenOntario on April 19th at 7:00 pm via WebEx to hear speaker Claudette Sims, who will discuss “A Gardening Conundrum: Why are invasive plants sold in nurseries?”
Invasive plants are a threat to biodiversity, human health and our economy. They threaten native plants, insects, animals and our forests. So why are they still sold in nurseries? This talk will answer that question and suggest actions that we can all take to safeguard biodiversity.
We’ll also hear from the OHA Conservation & Environmental Committee on What’s New for Societies/Clubs!
This event will be first-come, first-served and opened up to the first 1000 individuals logged on to the WebEx account. The WebEx Account will be live starting at 6:40 pm.
All cameras and microphones must be turned off to ensure viewing pleasure by all. Sponsored by Shawn LaPalm Insurance Agency Inc.
