Our Guest Speaker: Sarah Wendorf | Presentation: Beyond Seeding Starting 101.

“Beyond Seed Starting 101” is an interactive presentation on how to successfully start seeds indoors using a simple, efficient home setup that goes beyond the classic “south-facing window” approach. We’ll cover the essential elements for healthy, robust seedlings—proper lighting, air movement, water, heat, and humidity—and explore how each factor supports strong growth. Participants will learn how to create an affordable small-rack system at home, including practical tips on lighting options, fan placement, and moisture management, so they can confidently grow vibrant transplants ready for the garden! Sarah Wendorf has been starting hundreds of seedlings indoors for the past five years and continues to grow in a greenhouse, raised beds, and in-ground beds.
